Bear Feet is a collaborative project with Nir Vidan and Stine Frandson, a dance and image based stage map of fragments derived from research on the topic of friendship. Constructed using polyamorous relationships as a methodology for working in a group of three, one of the main questions was: how do we account to all four relationships (those of each pair of individuals as well as that of the group as a whole) that are developing in parallel throughout working together? In opposition to the tendency to represent relationships on stage as homogenous, we work to differentiate and crystalize the specificity of each relationship and its attributes by translating these relationships into a series of mini self-portraits on stage.
